Melinda received her undergraduate degree in Historical Studies from the University of Calgary, where she majored in Canadian Aboriginal history with a minor in International Indigenous Studies. For over five years, she has provided historical research services and litigation support in the field of Aboriginal law. Melinda specializes in the research and preparation of specific claims and the electronic management of historical research collections to support litigation. She has also worked in First Nations communities retrieving documentary evidence and researching oral history. Melinda is now attending law school at the University of Ottawa and continues to provide contract research assistance to our law firm.
