Allison is an Associate at Rana Law, based in our Vancouver office. Her practice includes advising First Nations on Treaty rights and environmental issues relating to oil and gas development, water, wildlife, and forestry management. Read More »
Advising First Nations in litigation and negotiation, Allison works closely with natural resource consultants and other expert advisors to provide comprehensive advice on natural resource valuation and potential adverse effects of proposed developments on Treaty rights. She has instructed expert witnesses in the preparation of expert reports for litigation and has assisted First Nations in retaining expert advisors to assist them with a variety of natural resource issues.
Allison has extensively researched First Nations' water rights and has provided strategic advice to First Nations in British Columbia and Alberta on land, water and wildlife protection measures. She has also provided strategic and legal advice on environmental assessment processes and has advised First Nations in disputes concerning contaminated land.
